Leaving behind the 90 degree temps in Florida for the lovely 70 degrees of Wisconsin alone was worth the 48 hour train trip! My husband has been up there for six months and had a list of places he wanted to share with us.
Our first breakfast in Wisconsin was amazing!
Our girl is all about the movies, so we went to see Masters of the Universe and Toy Story 5. We couldn’t have picked better places to watch them.
And of course, if you follow me on Instagram, it will come as no surprise to you that I had to take some pictures of the moon.
And I got to see our property in person for the first time! I am in love!
I loved the architecture, so different from what I am used to. There was a church or a car wash on every corner. Seriously, they were like Starbucks or Publix down here in Florida.
And some beautiful landscapes.
The Corners
The streets were laid out in a crazy way, like someone dropped a plate of noodles on the floor. I’m used to a more straightforward sort of grid. Still, I am looking forward to going back. I think next time I will drive up. Why? I think my next post, the Trip Home, will answer that question for you.
