Monarchs in the garden

From scarcity to abundance.

Last year I lamented the lack of Monarchs in the garden, but I am happy to say this year is proving quite the opposite! At one point I found no less than eight caterpillars munching away on the butterfly weed (and it’s only February). And as you can see, they grew up into beautiful butterflies.
